So, I was browsing through DA and in the process I was looking at my info on my page, wondering if I should update. I saw my favorite authors there, and the one, Ursula K. Le Guin made me go.. 'wait, who?'
Right, so why is she in my favorite authors spot, huh?
So..I Googled. And that's when I remembered the insane amount of time I spent in my AP English class reading this book over the summer before the actual class started in my senior year. (We had to read three books before the class started, cause college classes actually start in August, not in September..Aaaanyways..)Turns out this LeGuin wrote the Earthsea novels, which I didn't read cause I had no interest, and sadly wish I did now cause Sci-Fi made a poor rendition of it. The book I did read however was the second part of her Ekumen novels known as The Telling. Even though it is second in the 'series' the book is still stand alone, much like many of the Final Fantasy games, and Warhammer 40k to Gothic Warhammmer.. If you google this book, not much is said about it, which is surprising but her first book, The Left Hand of Darkness is praised very highly.

The TL;DR Section:
The point my good sirs:
The Telling is amazing, and I highly recommend this book to anyone with an artistic or even scientific sense of mind. It says so much about the repression of science and art, language and expression. It hits SO many points and wonderful thoughts that it is just a thought provoker. Unless you don't think..
Or Breathe,
Or Care for that fact..
Just read it

I bequeath in my will of Characters That I Roleplay, that Flippy may kill all OCs that claim to be his future wife, girlfriend, or current wife/girlfriend.
Stick around, China's gonna win it all.
